The benefits of having our apprentices is the attitude they bring to the table by having excellent attention to detail as well as catching on so quickly that they are running two to three machines at a time… more than some of the experienced employees.
Jose Gonzalez, Machining Manager, Cal-Draulics, Inc.
The apprenticeship program has and will continue to be instrumental in our company’s growth, as we plan for the future by investing in our greatest asset – our employees. Having their skillset honed and polished through this valuable program will enable them to be the change agents needed to positively influence our objectives and operations. The benefits derived from their respective coursework will be the edge we will need in today’s hyper-competitive landscape.
Eugenio Martin, Engineering Manager, Lynam Industries, Inc.
Local college apprenticeships are so important; not only for the continued vitality of our local businesses and industry, but also for encouraging the success and retention of our greatest asset: our youth and students.
Kimberly Davidson, Economic Development Manager, City of Corona
Apprentices are a vital part of any great team. They are open to change, filled with enthusiasm and hungry for success. Those three traits together can be difficult to find even in the most seasoned veteran.
Michael D Pierce, Operations Manager, Developlus

What’s the main problem you are trying to solve? Do you need a talent pipeline? Do you have people at your company that you’d like to develop? Would you like to give your employees a chance to grow? Are you trying to make your team more efficient?
The LAUNCH team will match you to the right program and partnerships. With a network of colleges and high schools, we have access to new and developing talent and can provide your current staff with impactful training and education. So why do YOU want to get started?
When you need to add new employees to your workforce, hiring the right people can be a true challenge. You need people with the right attitude and the right skills. Not all applicants will possess the depth of knowledge and training to be able to start performing on day one. That’s where LAUNCH can help.
The LAUNCH program prepares students for the ever-changing needs of the 21st century workforce. We carefully coordinate with local businesses to find out what skills their employees need to know. Programs are then developed to incorporate classroom training and apprenticeships to ensure students are on a path to success starting with their first day on the job.
Employees are expected to have the basic knowledge to perform their jobs. As technology improves and becomes more efficient, so should your staff. Teaching current employees new skills not only helps your business stay competitive, it also helps your staff remain engaged. This results in a stronger company from both a competitive standpoint and a more satisfied workforce.
The LAUNCH program is the perfect solution for businesses looking to further develop staff members. We can work with businesses to identify the skills that will help employees advance their careers and grow within your company. A custom program will then be developed to cover both the practical knowledge and soft skills development necessary to succeed in today’s marketplace.
Businesses need to keep pace with new technology and methods if they want to stay competitive in today’s world. That means employees also need to keep growing their knowledge and abilities. Employee development can seem like a daunting task, but a well-developed training program can ensure a smooth path to success now and into the future.
By working with LAUNCH, creating a strategic training program is easier than you may imagine. Our team works closely with businesses to find out the short- and long-term training goals, and then charting a course to achieve success. This collaborative approach allows each business to scale a training program to meet its unique needs.

In the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network, we are committed to developing the best talent in the Inland Empire and we value our business partners. Fortunately, our one-page Apprenticeship Agreement makes partnering simple and clear. Businesses complete a one-page form which indicates what apprenticeship pathways are offered at their company. Companies establish their own skill benchmarks and employee incentives for completing the training the program.

With everything in place, let’s get started! The LAUNCH team will work directly with your company to enroll employees and help them with scheduling courses. In addition, you can plug into LAUNCH recruitment events to find your next apprentice.

An apprenticeship program registered with the United States Department of Labor demonstrates commitment by a business to develop a highly-skilled workforce that meets nationally recognized training standards. The roles of both the employer and apprentice, along with the training program curriculum, are clearly spelled out in an Apprenticeship Standards document. Registered apprenticeship programs may also qualify for tax credits.
