I want to work with my hands and work around electricity. I know I’ll get to do just that in this industry. I will also learn new things and develop skills I wouldn’t have in other jobs.

My father was an electrician, and I wanted to be the same, but when I had my last job that had to do with more industrial work, I realized I liked it more. Being an apprentice will give me the opportunity to learn new skills that I can use going forward in an industry that has many opportunities to grow.
